I didn't take photos during our evaluations since we are not giving wheelchairs to these people yet, and they may not qualify at all. Irina takes photos for their files, but who wants 5 cameras snapping photos of you when your ill or injured? 10 strangers tromp into your home, ask you questions about the things that hurt and then go all paparazzi on you without giving you a wheelchair at the end?
At this point, when it's mostly PT shoptalk, I'm just absorbing and along for the ride. I'm learning a lot, but nothing that I feel quite qualified to try to restate here in public.
Did get some great photos up in the hills of Comas, though:
Well my dear it sounds like you are on an adventure that you will not soon forget. i really don't know how to comment on it all. I always wondered why people never commented on my blog (yes, when i actually kept and up-to-date blog), but it is a tricky thing to do. you're not editing. It's not your place to offer criticism on what you did and offer advice like, "you know what would make your blog even better, if you, you know, got kidnapped and stolen away to the top of a mountain... you know... and then, like, escaped by tricking your captors into thinking you were deathly ill, yatta yatta yatta."
ReplyDeleteso just keep on keepin on. maybe break one of your rules and try a little llama steak, make out with a hot peruvian on the beach, and above all keep doing as much as you can to improve the lives of those you meet.
Yes Andy - You have neglected to tell us about all the attention you are getting from the Peruvian men - please, I'd like to re-live those memories from my youthful trips down south - Lori
